UPDATE: According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Eddie Nketiah has agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace, and the contract is in place while the two clubs finalize the transfer. Romano notes Arsenal and Palace are getting closer to reaching an agreement for the transfer.
ORIGINAL: According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Crystal Palace has submitted a bid to Arsenal for striker Eddie Nketiah. Both clubs are now discussing the transfer and Nketiah has given the green light to move to Palace.
Nketiah has been linked to several clubs in Europe this summer, and while no move has materialized yet, it’s expected the 25-year-old will leave North London during the window.
Over the weekend, Premier League side Nottingham Forest decided to move on from Nketiah as they couldn’t agree on contract terms with the player even though they agreed a fee worth up to £30million with Arsenal.
