Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Olympique de Marseille has informed Arsenal that the Eddie Nketiah deal is off as the Ligue 1 side has signed forward Elye Wahi instead.
According to Romano, Marseille did not want to accept a €30m package for the Gunners striker after having bids rejected this summer, despite the player’s green light for the move to France.
However, Romano has revealed that Premier League club Bournemouth have their eyes on Nketiah as a replacement for Dominic Solanke after moving to Tottenham Hotspur last week.
