According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have now formally activated the £27million buy option for goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford.
Raya joined the Gunners last year on loan with the option for Mikel Arteta’s side to purchase him, now that’s done.
Raya won the Premier League Golden Glove this past season and was an important part of Arsenal’s run in the league.
Romano reports a formal club statement from Arsenal will follow.
